Beat reporter, The Diamondback, College Park, Md.

 

     Cover football and have covered top-10 lacrosse, field hockey and
     women’s lacrosse and various other sports as a beat reporter for
     this 17,000-circulation independent daily newspaper on campus.
     Since September 2007.

Multimedia reporter, News21, Carnegie-Knight Initiative, College Park, Md.

 

     Conduct in-depth investigative reporting on the Chesapeake Bay for
     this national journalism fellowship sponsored by the Carnegie-Knight
     Initiative on the Future of Journalism Education. Since January 2010.

Intern, USA TODAY, McLean, Va.

 

     Focused on online editing and publishing for the Sports Network Desk,
     where the online and print sides of this national-circulation paper
     converge. Controlled appearance of Web pages, created multimedia
     elements and cropped, compiled and published photo galleries. Also
     covered sporting events and wrote articles. May-August 2009.

     Edited articles, fact-checked pages, and wrote articles for the Sports
     section of the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area 182,743- circulation
     weekday newspaper owned by the Washington Post Co.
